Gyeongju, known as “a museum without walls,” is a coastal city in South Korea’s North Gyeongsang Province that served as the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom for nearly 1,000 years (57 BC – 935 AD). As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it features extensive archaeological sites, royal tombs, and historic temples.
